Ambulance delay to start race. Crash on 1st turn of 1st lap, crash on 1st turn of 2nd lap, 2 crashes in last lap (all in less than 40 minutes). All 6 DBC riders came through safely (Rod F, Mark H, Jason H, sorry I forgot your name again, and a younger DBC racer, I think. We all finished well :) although we didn't place :( Pre-race advice from fellow teammates was invaluable & Race Ride practices helped quite a bit for my first and only Crit since 1981. Among other things, I wish I could sprint-practice...practice! Overall it was a total high octane blast , and I loved it - I don't know if that's a good thing - Jason S must be rubbing off on me!
